Training
At Mindat Township, Southern Chin State
More than 50 church leaders (pastors, evangelist,
missionaries, SS teachers...etc) received Bible teachings on
"servant-leadership" and "how to study the Bible Inductively"
(August 27-30,2009/Mindat township, Southern Chin State, West of
Myanmar)
We
have just returned home from a recent mission trip to Mindat
township, Southern part of Chin State and west of Myanmar. God
provided funds for this support when He blessed my family with
extra support last month. The meeting was arranged by two key
men of Mindat Methodist Church, Upper Myanmar. They gathered
more than 50 church leaders (pastors and missionaries, Sunday
school teacher and evangelists). We had two wonderful days of
teaching and three nights of fellowship in the word of God.
Some of these pastors walked on foot for three days in order to
come to the seminar. I was so pleased that my wife and I were
led to help the Methodist Church some financial assistance to
help provide foods for these dear pastors.
This
seminar was arranged by two key men who love their own people.
And we look forward to conducting a five day teaching seminar in
the
near future. Rev Mananaing and Rev Ki Ling said, "We've been
so blest and we must at any expense try to conduct this kind of
teaching seminar in the near future so that more pastors and
church leaders be equipped with the right kind of tools and
character for the work of ministry.

During our trip, we were also able to travel to one of the remote area
namely Luk Pe village. We walked through a very slippery and
steep paths and it was raining as well. It was very much risky
to our health because of thick grass that stand so tall. But it
was worth going because of what God has done and is doing.
This is the village where we baptized 30 peoples and planted
churches in March 2009. It was so great for Philip and his
friends to see these people growing in their faith and in their
knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
