Looking Back At 2009
Greetings and blessings to you all
in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As I sit down to write
what God has done in the year 2009, I am reminded of the fact
that everything that’s done (including the way we live, the way
we handle the money and our motive for service) in the year 2009
remain for eternity awaiting to be judged by our Lord
“For God will bring every work into
judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil”
(Eccl. 12: 14). I am also reminded of the fact that I
have no chance of changing those done in the past 2009. But I am
glad that I have no regrets for the things and the way I
invested my life in His work. Do you feel the same?
COUNTING THE
BLESSINGS OF THE YEAR 2009
From June 2008 to February 2009, 34 young men and women were taught the word of God daily at Yangon Grace Bible School.
In June 2009, Inductive Bible Study Seminar was conducted for pastors of our Grace Bible Fellowship.
In March, students were sent and supported as they went out for outreach and church planting in three difference states. We saw 30 people responded to the message and publicly confessed Christ by taking baptism.
In April and May, we visited and taught the church that was established in 2003 at Bethel village in Shan State.
In June 2009, Yangon Grace Bible School resumed it’s second academic year with 9 teachers and 42 students representing ten minor people groups.
In July 2009, new missionary was sent to Taih Gyi, Yangon division.
In August, we were privileged to provide three days teachings for more than 50 pastors in Mindat and another 30 pastors in Kachin State.
In September, I was privileged to minister to my people in Malaysia.
In November, more than 30 pastors were given four days teaching in Taunggyi.
In December 2009, more than 30 pastors/leaders were given three days teachings in Taunggyi, Shan State.
May the peace, joy and blessing that come through living intimately with Christ be seen in us as we enter the year 2010. May we experience His power and bear more fruits in the year 2010 than the year 2009.Let us take heed to the words of Paul “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love” (1 Cor. 16:13-14).
